In Todays' Daily Jigsaw Puzzle, we visit Tŵr Mawr Lighthouse on Llanddwyn Island in North Wales.

Constructed in 1873, this historical lighthouse was designed to guide ships through the treacherous Menai Strait and into the ports of Holyhead and Caernarfon. The design of Tŵr Mawr was inspired by the windmills of Anglesey, giving it a distinctive and charming appearance that sets it apart from traditional lighthouse architecture.

Standing at approximately 33 feet (10 meters), Tŵr Mawr features a whitewashed, conical tower topped with a lantern and gallery. Though it is no longer used as a navigational aid, it remains a beloved landmark and a symbol of the area's maritime heritage. Llanddwyn Island, a narrow spit of land accessible by foot at low tide, offers stunning views, beautiful beaches, and a serene atmosphere, making it a popular destination for walkers and nature lovers.

What do you say – are you up to visiting Tŵr Mawr Lighthouse and its surroundings with us right now? (Say yes - we'll be flying! ♥)
