True.

LMAO

FYI, TLA is an acronym for Three Letter Acronym. Also (obviously) for Two Letter Acronym, Ten, Twelve etc.

It's time to start making fun of the endless acronym fad! :-)

dhi

I do think there are too many acronyms in the world though, just saying.

I will be sending you a message in the next few hours with a hard link (@robf) on it, but my day is winding down now & I am not sure how coherent I am at the moment.

robf

Now I follow you. No, I was born in '52, east of Montreal. But oddly enough, both my first and middle names are the same as the late Mayor Ford.
MPP might've clued me in, tho...

dhi

The Rob Ford family (Minister of Provincial Parliament)

robf

Donna, you've lost me. :-(

dhi

Any relation to the PPM?

robf

It does help. It's an inner conversation of course, but still completely different from any I might have with myself.
Inviting a third person in is sometimes the best way to get beyond an impasse: for my dad for instance, it could be my granny (his mother) who was like oil on water, and wise.
Thanks yet again for the timely reminder, Donna.

For anyone who hasn't tried such things, the conversation can have startling power, so be gentle & forgiving with yourself. You'll get a clear feeling when the transformation you're about to have, is fully under way.

dhi

I hear what you are saying about good memories or well resolved. I have had a number of conversations after the fact that resolved many issues, and that is pretty amazing & helps too.

If it would help, everyone time you are thinking of them, they are standing right there waiting to have a conversation if you are ready.

"May they recover in peace."

robf

Thank you, Donna. All my memories of him are good or well resolved; that always makes looking back much easier.

My complete support for your wish to all who are losing close parts of their lives. May they recover in peace.

dhi

robf
I am very sorry for your loss.
And for all those who are losing loved one in this time.
Take care all and be safe.

robf

Heidi, of course you're correct. Rest in peace, everyone who got caught by the lax safeguards. You will be long remembered.

My last remaining uncle died in 2020. But it was in the first week of January, so still in "normal" times; and he was 94.
That was a good life.

Surreal_Heidi

I bet a few people figured they'd be dead by 2020. And they were right.

It's pretty early in the morning to be laughing this hard, John

robf

Truer words there never were...Sherry :)))

Lia

Now that is one absolutely true sentence!!

Mischka

Sweet preserves-maker, I haven't had an answer to that question for the last decade of my life!

I guess I'd better stop thinking of "What I could have been!" ... and start thinking, "How do I get started again?"

Hugs to you, sir, for turning a negative into a positive.
