Cedar, from: C.J. Trew and B.C. Vogel, Plantae selectae, 1750-1773 (R337A03)
Why are you reporting this puzzle?
The Plantae Selectae is a botanical masterpiece with beautiful illustrations based on water colours by G.D. Ehret. The copper plate etchings, the printing and the coloration were produced by J.J. Haid. Ten volumes were published between 1750 and 1773. The drawing of a Cedar Tree (Tab. LX) is probably from the specimens grown in the Chelsea Physic Garden. The Plantae Selectae, can be seen, on appointment, at the Special Collections of WUR Library (https://www.wur.nl/en/Library/Special-Collections.htm).
