Hi, Ardy! I wound up by myself, too. I was on my way to my son's home, but decided the roads, wind, and the temp (18f) were not in my favor, and turned around. We'll make it New Years instead. :)))

When our neighbour...the one who looks after our hummingbirds when we're gone...knew we weren't going today either she invited Ken to bring plates down for turkey dinner with homemade mince pie and whipped cream. A kind neighbour and a great cook! Blessed again...

P.S. The highway is still closed because of avalanche hazard...so we're home, too...with an empty fridge as we ate everything up in preparation for leaving last Thursday. Now we have to eat all the fruit I bought to take with us and go shopping again if/when we get to go... 😉😉😉
