Why are you reporting this puzzle?

I drove down to Southeastern Arizona to see some species of birds I wouldn't see elsewhere. I went so far east I crossed over into New Mexico briefly. After the highway curved back into Arizona, I soon arrived at the little town of portal. Several homeowners in town were friendly and had placed bird feeders out and allowed birders like me to come into their yards and watch and photograph the birds. Portal only has 60 residents but it does have its own post office. That big Sycamore Tree hanging over the post office was the home of a Screech Owl.

dblay, they might have been playing checkers. I do know it was a very laid back little town. Terry

Great photo, Terry. I'll bet those two men sitting on the right side of the porch are playing "checkers. :-))) I love this little post office and it would have been nice if that Screech Owl had made an appearance just for your photo. :-) I also think it was wonderful that those folks welcomed you bird watchers into their yards to watch the birds at the feeders and to make photos of them. Nice, Friendly bunch of folks. Thank you for this great puzzle.

Wonderful picture. It was a bit of a challenge for me in the beginning but I quickly caught on and it was a fun puzzle. Always enjoy the travelogue that you include with your puzzles. Thank you. E
