Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Hi all of dads puzzle friends. My name is Laura and I am Floyds daughter. I imagine most of you have already heard that dad passed away very suddenly on May 13. We were together on May 12 for Mother's Day and he passed during his afternoon nap on Monday. This is his last picture. The cake was made by my son. Thank you for all your friendship to him over the years through your puzzles. Reading all of your comments back and forth has given us an insight into this part of dad's life.

Thank you, Laura. He will be deeply missed here on Jigidi.

Laura, I am sorry for your loss, though I think I speak for us all when I say it was a loss felt by everyone that knew Floyd. The world is a sadder place without him. If you just want someone to talk to, or beatup on I am always around someplace.

Thank you, Laura, for this photo and your words here.
Your dad was well-liked here at Jigidi, and will be missed indeed.
My condolences and sympathy to you and your family.

A huge loss

Laura, thank you for posting this wonderful picture! I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad made jigidi a better place. We grieve with you and Arlene and your whole family. Hugs from Cathy in British Columbia.

Thank you Laura. I didn't know, and I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad will be missed very much. --Patti

Hi Laura your son made a beautiful cake, we were so sorry to hear about your much loved Dad, he was a special person in our Jigidi world Kindest regards Val from New Zealand

On behalf of mom, my sister Donna and me, thank you so much for your condolences, kind words and memories of dad. They are very appreciated.

Thank you for posting your dad's last picture, Laura. I think he would have done it too. He was such a gentle man and so polite, always. He will be missed by all who knew him through his photos and comments. RIP dear Jigidi friend.

Thank you, Laura. It was a pleasure to know your Dad. He was a gentleman and a kind soul. Heaven is a better place since he arrived.

Thank you Laura. Floyd will definitely be missed mire so with his posts. May his soul have eternal peace...

Thank you so much for posting this, Laura. The well decorated Mother’s Day cake is definitely a picture your dad would have posted.
From reading over your dad's puzzles you probably realize your dad was an integral part of the jigidi community. The stories he told of growing up on the farm, the tales he told of camping, his flowers and sunsets---all were little glimpses into Floyd's life. His love for family, work ethic, quick (yet subtle) humor, puns; all came through in his comments.
I will miss him greatly, and am thankful for having "known" your dad over the years through jigidi.
May the memories you have made with him bring you smiles. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Thank you, Laura. I'm glad you were able to post this. People who "follow" your Dad's profile might not see the photo and information I posted on mine.

If any of you would like to see Floyd's last sunrise photo it's on ringleader2:

Thank you, Laura. We now know Floyd was not only a kind, generous, thoughtful friend on Jigidi, but that he had a kind, generous, loving, thoughtful family as well. And creative as well -- this is a lovely and artistic cake.
