Who knows, but he did the impossible. It's always something. ☺

jbprols

Hahahahaha! I loved Gilda Radner in her Rosanna RosannaDanna persona! She was so much fun. Thanks for the baseball play-by-play. Maybe the guy in the front row was drunk and had eaten too many hot dogs, and his reactions were dulled?

The fascinating thing about baseball is this: if you watch all or most of a single game you are guaranteed to SEE something you, yourself, personally have NEVER SEEN before. You've heard about things in baseball all your life, but not actually SEEN this thing happen. It happened to night to me again, as it always does.

OK, here's the scene. The camera is showing the pitcher from behind, and the home plate, batter, catcher, umpire and the first few rows of spectators. In goes the pitch, the batter swings, he barely hits the bottom of the ball, which is slightly deflected and flies just over the catcher and ump right straight into the screen that protects the fans. They instantly flinch and dodge away (even though they know the ball can't hit them) and then they straighten back up and laugh. It's a fun thing to see happen on TV. Well, tonight there was a man watching intently, in the first row, with his eyes glued to the action. The foul tip happened and instantly flew straight at him and hit the screen inches in front of his nose. AND HE DIDN'T REACT! NOT AT ALL! It was astounding! He didn't even close his eyes. Amazing.

ROSEANNE ROSEANNADANNA: It's always something. Either your uncle's hauled off to jail or you've got a booger hanging out of your nose!

jbprols

Did they win?
@wigma

jbprols

Oh, No! 😆

patsquire

HA! Baseball rules! I just watched my Phillies lose :-( in the 12th inning to the Yankees.

wigma

I'm sitting here watching a Brewers game, so #1 came easily.

jbprols

Haha! 🌟

robert952

got the first one
went 'blind squirrel' on the second one. (Even a blind squirrel bumps into a nut occassionally.)

jbprols

Hahahahaha!

patsquire

I hate s'mores. :-( They're a waste of a good Hershey bar.

ParsonWayne

Pat, grams are used to make brown crackers used in 'smores.

patsquire

And even if you defined it for me, I still wouldn't know what it is because the definition would be in esoteric little units of this or that. ☺

jbprols

Hahahahaha! ☺

patsquire

What a lovely polar bear.....

Q1) Easy
Q2) Who cares? I don't even know what a gram is! ☺

jbprols

Oh, Down Under...I get it now!
@ParsonWayne

JoHe

The hint did it on #1 (not so common over here)
Good guess on #2

jbprols

I don't know what that means, PW.

ParsonWayne

Is the one upside down from OZ, Bernadette?

The first answer was easy. I guessed right on the second one.

fringefest

Got the first one. Guessed wrong on the second. Love the polar bear.

jbprols

Way to go!
@maggie4072
@lyvvie

lyvvie

@Toku_Floyd
@Kalola
@DaisyBella1

Kalola

Toku_Floyd

I thought this was the advert for "Fox's Glacier Mints".
