I would like to see it but no chance of that, I like in Oklahoma. lol

When Saipem was in Halifax my daughter said to me 'You took more pictures of that thing than you did of me.' Certainly true for the couple of weeks it was here.

I googled the Saipem 7000. Wow that is huge. It is one of the largest cranes in the world, also downloaded a picture of it which I will post Jigidi.

Oh very wise! Profits before people in that industry.
Since the Hibernia oilfield stopped production we don't see the rigs and supply vessels in Halifax Harbour. I worked in a hospital overlooking the harbour and I loved to see all that. My favourite was the giant floating crane Saipem 7000.

Thanks mtomlins, anything to do with oil rigs and supply boat interest me. I worked on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico out Venice Louisinia in 1977 for about 6 months ago. The rig I was on was not a very safe conscious so i made the decision to move on.

Venture Sea. They called all their vessels Something Sea.

She is in Secunda Marine livery, out of Halifax Nova Scotia.
