These were in the neighbors back yard directly behind us. They haven't taken their pool cover off yet but there is some rain water in the cover. This happens every year at this time . I see pairs of mallards walking around the neighborhood looking for nesting spots.

Neighbors had a lovely visit. Must be led out duck chicks. :-)))

donnebrook, hope its soon its getting warm here.

Rob, That was my concern, their not as messy as the Geese.

Rosy, I was just up in Canada , Lots of Geese honking there. They seem to be everywhere.

Janet , they could go just 4 miles down the road to the river or a stream a few blocks away. hugs , Jim.

BK, they have been casing the neighborhood looking for a nesting spot.

florrie , the were back again today.

"Hey! When does the pool open?"

That's a good shot Jim - here's hoping they don't leave too much fertiliser around:)))

We have one pair of geese and one pair of ducks and lots of single male geese. No one is looking for a nesting spot yet, it's still too cold at night (high 30s to low 40s). Hugs from me too!!!

What a fabulous photo thanks Jim, yes they are definitely eyeing off this pool. Hugs my friend

LOL better get that pool filled soon. We have a pair of impatient ducks here ;-))
