I have German ancestry....

Bluebonnet

@Tincup You really are! And I thought I had it bad. :-)

Bluebonnet

@Surfingbird Did you know you can search Jigidi puzzles for your favorite artists or subjects?

I love impressionism, and I love this painting.
That said, as I finished the puzzle I noticed that her legs are disconnected-looking. Not sure what the legs are doing.
All I can say is that they are both there.

I am so OCD.

I agree with Tincup about the arm; nice catch. A big thank you to Bluebonnet for sharing this very beautiful painting with us. I'm looking forward to seeing more LeBasque.

Bluebonnet

@december Done! This will apply to puzzles going forward; please browse my past puzzles to see some large ones you may have missed. Welcome aboard!

december

Yes, I would like to be on yours list of 400 to 500 pieces.

Tincup

Maybe so.

Bluebonnet

I assumed the branch was growing toward the viewer, so at the point where she is holding it it is directly over the boy's head. Maybe.

Tincup

I bet you're right. For me it stops short of being busy because of the relaxed postures and dappled sun. And everything is organized. Everything is in context.
However, the perspective of her arm resting on the branch is off. The boy is behind her, and the branch is behind him...

Bluebonnet

Yes, there's a lot going on. It stops short of being too busy, though. I think LeBasque must have been quite a joyful man.

Tincup

Lot of movement in this painting. My eyes travel all over the image.

Bluebonnet

You're welcome! I love LeBasque. If I had a large screen, I would do this one myself.

Tincup

Blue, this one is great. Thank you.

Bluebonnet

@fingers127 You've been on the list for a while. I hope you've seen the notifications?

YES PLEASE, again, thank you, Linda

Bluebonnet

@december Thank you. I do occasionally publish large ones, and sometimes I create a 400– to 500-piece version that I do not publish, on which I tag people who like the large ones. Would you like to be on the list? I'll also make a puzzle in a different size on request, if I can.

december

More enlargements. I love your pictures!

Bluebonnet

You're welcome! I thought this one called out for enlargement.

Thanks so much, Linda
