Why are you reporting this puzzle?

This is the loon I mentioned - he has moved a little further away then where he originally popped up. I am being as still as possible so as not to stress him. I know it's illegal to get too close to them, but what are you supposed to do when THEY pop up almost right under your kayak? :-)

Toonie3, you are so lucky that your dad has a house in the UP. You must hear loons all the time there. We only spend 10 days a year in Maine, at a cottage we've been leasing for 17 years now; but it's still a magical time for us, especially hearing the loons call at night. Thanks for stopping by!

I love loons! We are from Michigan and we have them in the Upper Peninsula at my dad's house. They are beautiful birds and you were very lucky to see one so close.

Thanks dblay, glad you liked the puzzle. The color of the kayak was luck of the draw - I had never kayaked before, and we rented a pair for the week. I liked the red one. Maybe one day I'll actually own a kayak. ;-) The loon was just a stroke of luck that morning.
