YAY! I am fairly good at basic math, but when I took a college algebra class I did fine with the equations, then got completely stuck on "imaginary numbers". Jeez, the very idea of "imaginary numbers" seems crazy! My hubby is a math whiz, & both he & even my instructor were helping me, but I still couldn't grasp it. So now I am reconciled to being an "algebra ignoramus", LOL! At least now I can impress people by telling them I solved your equation, hee hee!

OH! So, 3 divided by 3=1, & 1x27 (3 squared) = 27. Is that right?

Separate the equasion into individual problems -- 3-3=0; 0+3=3; 3+3=6; 3x3x3 (3 cubed) =27; 6x27= 162.

Okay, so now I get 9... 0 plus 1 x 9 = 9...this is why I couldn't do math well...

The third symbol is a divide.
3 to the 3rd = 3x3x3 = 27

3 minus 3 = 0...plus 3 plus 3 = 6...0 + 6 equals 6 ...3 to the 3rd (or 3 cubed) = 9 ...so 6 times 9 = 54...
