And I just thought it was a big yellow airplane. Very interesting. Thanks for all the information.

And if ya'll dont mind I'd like to add just a little more about this big yellow Airplane, it is a Bombardier CF 415 "super-scooper", powered by 2, PW123 turboprop engines, delivering @ 2200 HP each, which is an up date to the older CF 215, "scooper", which was powered by 2, R-2800 reciprocating engines, of which are still very much being utilized in fire fighting. Using the turboprop version ads a whole lot of improvements to its operations. I am personally familiar with the CF-215 model. Both, outstanding Aircraft. Thanks for the post calleycat2

I-DPCR (31) was built CL-215-6B11 CL 415 (Variant) Oct. 7th, 2009 Serial No. 2074 at the North Bay Ontario facility. First registered C-FZTY in Canada then sold to Italy civil Protection Agency on Jan. 21st, 2010.......but in the end it remains a Bombardier CL-415 The aircraft was first designed and built by Canadair. Bombardier bought the finacially troubled Canadair in the late 80's......just in case you were interested !
