Eloise, thank you for the explanation, it's very interesting. I read a book about New Zealand many years ago, at the time it seemed to me that it was country almost as distant as the Moon or Mars. It was the beautiful name of Aotearoa including of translantion in that book, and I've been remembering it ever since, all those long years. I'm glad my memory didn't fail β™₯:))

Deanna, when Māori explorers came here they saw a white cloud over the main islands and named it Aotearoa. It is such an apt, beautiful name.

Eloise, you wrote it very nicely, thank you. You have accurately captured the feeling we have today - in winter - when looking at apple blossoms. I send many greetings to Aotearoa, what a poetic name for your beautiful country. Is it the Land of the White Cloud, translated from Maori ? β™₯:))

Robin, thank you, it's a little memory of spring. These are the flowers of the apple tree that I see when I sit at the computer, in the spring it is a beautiful view β™₯:))

Something to look forward to!

Thanks, friend. The flowers are really pretty.
