Eens de pompoen uit de oven is, 10 minuten laten rusten.
Dan met een vork het vruchtvlees los trekken.
In een pan met olie zachtjes laten bakken.
Met kaas , paddenstoelen, room, kruiden en verse peterselie op smaak brengen.
Smakelijk !

Once the pumpkin is out of the oven, let it rest for 10 minutes.
Then pull the pulp with a fork.
Fry gently in a pan with oil.
Season with cheese, mushrooms, cream, herbs and fresh parsley.
Enjoy your meal !

RebeccaB, yes that is true, but you have to cut the top off first, so that you can straighten the pumpkin on a flat piece, then it will be much more fixed on the table. :-))) ♥

What is really, really hard is cutting it in half to bake it! Such a tough shell it's almost impossible.

Navyveteran, Patsy, Yes, now it is ideal, because now the spaghetti squashes can be found.
Such a pumpkin is good for 4 people.
I only used half for this preparation (because we are only 2 people)
This week I'm going to make the other half with a spaghetti sauce. :-))) ♥

Er is inderdaad wat werk vooraf, maar wel eens plezant om te doen.
En ja je moet het goed bij kruiden om het smaak te geven.
Je kan het zo eten of met wat vlees of vis bij, naar eigen keuze. :-))) ♥

Het ziet er redelijk arbeidsintensief uit.
Normaal gezien heeft pompoensoep bijvoorbeeld weinig tot geen smaak, maar door de kruiding zal dat ook hier wel beter zijn. Is eens iets anders.
