Why are you reporting this puzzle?

June 14th is Flag Day.

In the collection of the University of Princeton Art Museum

In the United States, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777, by resolution of the Second Continental Congress. The Flag Resolution, passed on June 14, 1777, stated: "Resolved, That the flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation."

In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation that officially established June 14 as Flag Day; on August 3, 1949, National Flag Day was established by an Act of Congress. Flag Day is not an official federal holiday.

Oh gosh, why didn’t I think of that too! I should have asked you first!
I put in Barbara Fritchie bc 1 I had an aunt named Barbara and 2 I always begged to stop at the Barbara Fritchie restaurant on old rte 40 when we drove to W Va to grandma’s. The best slice of pie ever, and once in a great while a meal, hot roast beef sandwich with gravy and potatoes. Both my parents grew up sort of cash poor, they never spent money when they didn’t have to, and since it was only a four hour drive we didn’t need to eat o the way. A frivolous treat.

I've been singing "Baltimore, our Baltimore" all day in honor of Mary Pickersgill and the Fort McHenry flag!

@Emmergee
In case I get censored or reported for waving the flag later, you might want to see my flag pictures for today.
The modern art ones were nice but didn’t move me!
