I am a British Quaker. What led me to becoming a Quaker was the testimony to equality. I have lived in circumstances where very different people from very different backgrounds were in the same space. That taught me that at heart we are all equally human. Quakers say that all humans have the equal capacity to access the divine. That is why we separated from the priest led churches in the 17th century. The question is “What can’st thou say?” The other testimonies are also very important. Quite a few people are led to Quakers because of our testimony to peace and all the work we do for peace around the world. The other key testimonies are truth and simplicity.

May I ask you why you are a Quaker? :-) Maggie

I know right? Then people let them lick their face... or give them kisses...don't get me wrong, I love the little licking things myself... ☺ :-) Maggie
