Eva, The text was funny .The song was sung in Czech, may be if I listen long enough I will learn the Czech language. I already know one word. Zima = Winter.

Jim, Must be lovely to go down to the river to hear the sound of the water, you probably would see a lovely sunset from here.
Love and hugs Jo :-))

Hi, Jim, it is somber picture, but interesting view, thank you ☺♥

Jim, ta píseň z dětství byla mnohem lepší, i text. Bohužel originál už není, tohle je slabý odvar.

Jim, that song from childhood was much better, and text. Unfortunately, the original is gone, this is a weak echo.

Thanks Rob , I see Brisbane and Gayndah have finally been getting some rain. You had quite a lot not to long ago.

Eva, that is a funny song, I listened to it and they had the translation in words printed. Thanks for sending it .

jetmech7

Janet , I guess it turned out OK if you girls say so, I was hesitant because it was kind of fuzzy. Hugs back dear friend. Jim.

smllpkg, Taken with a 35 mm some years ago , its a bit fuzzy

BK , that's on the other side of the river. The river runs into Lake Huron at Southampton Ontario about 20 miles away.

asphoto74, that's an amazing story about the Mosquito parts stored in that furniture co. There is only one flyable Mosquito in the world. See the site I posted below.
I go to the Hanover airport for a great breakfast when I'm up there. I've also been to Durham. This Photo was taken just behind the lamplighter motel just out side of Walkerton.

asphoto74, Its a small world , My dad was born in Walkerton in 1909. He lived on a farm in Cargill. My Cousin John Garland still has the farm. I go up there often.
I just live Across the Detroit river in Allen Park Michigan.

Really pretty Jim - I love the misty hills:))) Thanks!

Vzpomněla jsem si na jednu píseň z dětství, zpívá se v ní o Ontariu.

I remembered a song from his childhood, singing in it for Ontario.

Real pretty photo Jim. I can just start to see another farm on the further hill :-))

You might be interested in a bit of local history. Knechtel Furniture in Hanover, ON had so many parts and templates of the Mosquito fighter/bomber stored in their attic right up to when they closed down in the 70's

Familiar area. cottage in Durham, lived in Walkerton. A lovely area.
