Portree - Isle Of Skye ferry at Kyle of Lochalsh

So the old turntable ferry is still running! That would definitely be my choice for an adventure. Maybe someday. Do you live in the area? If you don't mind my asking....

The proper way to cross is of course the old turntable ferry still running .the Glenahulish at Glenelg - Kylerhea. Its now run as a community venture!

Have you been over that bridge? I will look it up on the internet, but someday I want to be there!

A bridge now connects Skye to the mainland , built in 1995, it was a toll bridge but now is free ...
