Hi Bev,
That's a lot of research bev try looking up "jumble" and Joe wjl1015, they have also researched for Lori. Joe had her address before she move to Maine.

@CJ45
Hi Clive
Sometime my mind takes me to thinking about people. Where are they. I found Lori's pics. and decided to bookmark. I searched for Lori and I think she is still with us, but perhaps cannot communicate herself. I found her sister and I think she may have moved back to Mass. from Arizona. I found a home address of Lori's family (parents are deceased). Lori, was so vibrant a person. It breaks my heart to think she cannot be puzzling with us. Thanks for listening. :))
11-14-19....11:17 A.M. It is sunshine, but cold.

CJ45

Hi Bev.

November 13, 2019

wjl1015

I rarely go on Facebook anymore, mostly to see all the pics of my kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren. I prefer it here as well :))

jals

I am learning to limit my time on there. I like the happy place here. :-)

farrell

Thanks Clive! My brother-in-law ordered chinese food (enough for about 10 people) lol! We'll be eating it again at 3 am! :)) I wouldn't read too many books if I had to read all those contacts either! Hope you're still enjoying being back at work :)

CJ45

Hi Lori I do not read books as I have always had to read contracts whilst at work and make my comments. So I not enjoy Reading at home. Do not get me wrong as I have my many car and motor cycle books and nursery Rhyme books that when need be to enjoy.
Hope you had a great time with your sister.

jals

You too Lori!

farrell

Oh, Facebook can be scary!!! I use the 'sidechat' to talk with my niece Abby (18) in AZ every day, but I don't have to now...'cause she's here! Yay! I am a book lover too, but haven't read one in a while. When my sister leaves, maybe? Have a great day everybody! ♥ Lori

jals

Thank you O&A! I am already looking forward to the comments here more than facebook. That site drives me crazy at times. lol

jals

Thanks Clive,
Oh there's meds for coping and then meds for the side effects from the coping meds. ha ha
Exercise is an important ingredient. So I try to walk everyday which is good for so many ailments. I can't complain, so many have things so much worse.

CJ45

Sorry to hear that you suffer pain Judy. Have they found a way to dispel the pain yet?

wjl1015

Thanks Judy :))

jals

Joe, I think that's the case for many people. I'm not able to be as active as I once was because of Fibromyalgia, and also an intolerance for extreme weather conditions. So I spend a lot of time indoors during the heat of the summer and the icy winter so I don't slip and fall, as my balance is not the best.
Cheers to Jigidi and the friends we meet!
Have a good day, Joe!!

jals

It's weird to develop friendships online and then really grieve for friends we've lost on here. It's happened to me with other groups and they stay with you. RIP Sue.

CJ45

The last time I spoke to Sue (Booktime) she was wheel chair bound sadly and her family had taken her out for the day. Then she did not correspond from that day onwards.

wjl1015

See Judy? As I told you when we first chatted what a wonderful group of people you've stumbled into!! I know I love them all and if not for them, I wold have been bouncing off the walls with boredom because of my physical limitations. Now I can get on Jigidi and talk to them and it's been keeping me sane and giving me purpose and people that care about me. So once again, WELCOME!!!

jals

I hear you on the memory. I had to go look at the books I mentioned to Old and Ancient, because I couldn't remember the titles from a week ago.
I like all the authors you mentioned. Good stuff. I'm mostly fiction myself.

wjl1015

We read primarily fiction-Steven King, Tom Clancy, James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, Dean Koontz, Robin Cook, way too many to mention (because I can't remember them all!).

irisriver

I love the older Phylis Whitney, Victoria Holt and Agatha Christie books too. A good evening to all!

jals

Look at all us readers! Puzzles and books. It seems they go together. ;-)
My favorite are mystery and suspense, but I do read others. I wasn't wild about Dear John either. I love a happy ending in my books and movies. Nice to meet you irisriver!
Joe, what do you and Liz like to read?

wjl1015

Both Liz and I love to read and have tons of books! I didn't know booktime, did she disappear or did she pass away? Or do you not know? We become so close on here........

irisriver

So sorry about booktime! She was such a sweet soul! I am a major bookworm too, loving books. I love mystery, historical, light romance, nature themed stories and science fiction. Willing to try a bit of everything.

jals

Oh that sounds like a fun job. I always wanted to be in a book club, but hesitated because like you, I thought they would be stuffy and intellectual and I read for pleasure as well. Then while I was still working for our public school system, one of the teachers said she was in a book club and was looking for new members, so I asked if I was too old and after she assured me I wasn't, I went ahead and tried it. That was 18 months ago. I absolutely love it. They are not stuffy at all and we read books that are fun. Several members have come and gone but the club is still going. Then some of the ladies at church said they'd like to be in a book club, so I'm working on getting that going. We've only met twice but it has been fun so far. A Bend in the Road by Sparks, and The Target by Baldacci.

jals

O&A, You're a book lover? Yay! Me too! Just finished a Nicholas Sparks book that I picked up in a used book store, before that was David Baldacci. I am in 2 book clubs that meet monthly so I have 2 books a month I read for them and then as many others as I can fit in besides.

CJ45

So did I O&A.

CJ45

My pleasure Judy. Good night and do have pleasant dreams.
Welcome to the nut case club. Oh dear, there are more of them I am afraid you have not been introduced to them all yet I will let Lori do that. Thee Hee!!!

jals

Thanks Clive!
And thanks for the info on Sue.

CJ45

Hi all, Here is the link. (what a plonker I am)
http://www.jigidi.com/jigsaw-puzzle/CRYJXFNV/Guy-fawkes
Sorry all here is poor old Guy Fawkes if you do read the comments Book Time (Sue) is not with us any more sadly but her puzzles are still on jigidi for all to enjoy.
Lori, I will stay up out of bed for your reply and I did see you red Spitfire must reply to that puzzle but I am so far behind with work I must catch up. LOL!!!!!!!!!!! even today I was working for eldest son at his garage.

jals

Cool!

wjl1015

。◕‿◕。

jals

Hey Joe,
It was big, had to keep moving the screen around. The dilemma for me is if I minimize it so it will all fit on my screen, then I can't see the pieces very well. So I just move the screen around. I never thought about putting it on my t.v. hmm..... Good idea. ha ha

wjl1015

WOW Judy!! That is way too big for me to do!! I would need to cast this to my TV and even then it might be too large a puzzle! Hmmmm.....sounds like a good reason to get a bigger TV!!!! hehehe
Only kidding Liz :))

farrell

That LOOKS hard! I'm still doing one posted by ringleader2 (Ardy) weeks ago! I hope I do finish it!

jals

Oh me too. When I was working, I was always forgetting to add the attachments to an email when I sent it.
I did hear someone say it was Guy Fawkes Day. And talked about the bonfires.

This is what I have been doing for the past day. http://www.jigidi.com/jigsaw-puzzle/K3CRO5ZV/Fall-Leaves

That was a hard one, but I really enjoyed it!

farrell

oops Clive....forgot the link (he he) .. I do it all the time!

CJ45

Hi all & Judy again, here is the link to poor old Guy Fawkes.
If you do read the comments Sue ( Book Time ) sadly is not with us any more but her puzzles are still on jigidi to enjoy.

CJ45

Hi all, and Judy, yes across the pond not sure as we have put our clocks back to GMT I think we are 6 hours ahead of Eastern USA but cannot be certain. time here 21:28 at present. Totally dark and we have burnt poor Guy Fawkes again. Poor soul I bet he now hates the 5th of November.
I will find him again and send the link in A minute or so.

jals

Reminds me of that old slogan, "Give a hoot, don't pollute."
I think UK is usually 5 hours ahead of us. Until Daylight Savings Time starts. :-(

wjl1015

There's a lot of "Hoots" around here Judy!!

farrell

Hi Judy, yes Clive is from the U.K., I think it is 5 hrs. later from Boston, MA (where I am). He has great pics at CJ45 and CJ45a ...and he's a hoot (as jeribar8 would say) :)))

jals

Thanks for the warm welcome Nette.
Nice to meet you Clive. What time zone are you in? I'm guessing you're British since you're talking about rugby.

farrell

Nos ta, fy ffrind! :)

CJ45

Hi Lori, not sure as there is union and league. I am into union. A much more brutal game. LOL!! Nos ta.

CJ45

nette10

farrell

Ha Ha Ha Clive!!!! That's funny (I miss Jeri tho!) Doesn't the 'somewhat good looking' actor Russell Crowe own his own Rugby team???? ♥ LOL!

CJ45

Thanks O&A I am pleased that your boys play the game. Also I know it was Rounders the Cubs won at and not Hockey. LOL!!! must not be naughty but jeribar8 Is on holiday so will not get told off. Thee Hee !!

wjl1015

I missed the party too!! Getting ready to leave, be back later tonight. Take care my friends :))

Jals, glad you came back and found your way into this great little family :))

farrell

Hi Judy! I think you started all this! Made us all remember how we met Brighty & what a DELIGHT she is every day! So, please join the party!!! ♥

jals

Wow! Looks like I missed out on the party that's going on here.
Cheers to good friends on Jigidi! Looking forward to getting to know you all.

nette10

I really don't have a preference.... most people call me Jeanette.

CJ45

Ah,Ha , Even our press high lighted the success of the "Cubs" saying that in 1908 zipper for trousers and skirts was not invented and we had also to wait for hair driers to be invented.
So all you "hockey " fans well done. LOL!!!
I am a great fan of rugby union and I do know all of you have not a clue what I am talking about.

nette10

Nette is my nickname from my niece when she was small, couldn't say aunt Jeanette, called me aunt Nette, all the other children in the family started calling me that too and still they do! :o)

farrell

That is P.E.R.F.E.C.T. --- and you know I stole it! Thank you Jeanette! ❤️

✲´*。.❄¨¯`*✲. BIG HUGS FOR BRIGHTSPARK ! ✲*`¯¨。*。❄。✲ (and her other 2 personas!)

farrell

ha ha ha! "Thanks guys"...needed that today! :)))

wjl1015

I don't think they give refunds, if they did I know at least one person who would be owed a small fortune!!!!

rswestley

So true Joe! She is one of the sweetest young ladies that frequents Joe's Place. No Doubt! ALWAYS very positive and uplifting! But going by your standards, if she needs 3 personas to spread her love around, I would only need about a 1/4 of a persona to spread my cheer around. I think I will demand a refund from Jigidi for the unused 3/4 of a portion of my personna...

wjl1015

She is that sweet that she needs 3 personas to spread all that love and caring around!!!

farrell

I agree! Brightspark, Sparklightie & Spaklies (all 3 of her are the BEST!) :))) ♥

jals

She does indeed, Joe. I just started looking at hers.

wjl1015

She has some great puzzles Judy!!

jals

Thanks sparklightie for the hugs and drinks! I bookmarked some of your puzzles to do. :-)

sparklightie

for some elvis and stevie @sparklightie

sparklightie

WAY TO GO CUBS !!!!!!!!!!! we do not watch the game here in south africa xxx but love every one's enthusiasm xxx hugs and drinks on the house ☺☺☺

jals

I'll have to try and remember to make some puzzles out of them.
You need to get to Wrigley!! I hope you do. Loved Billy Joel.

farrell

I would love to see those pics Judy! ...and 'yes' Fenway is still open! Now, the oldest park in U.S. ... very small, but added 'new' seats to the 'Green Monster' (the big green score wall- outfield) I did get seats there once, but not crazy about them. Was supposed to see Billy Joel concert there this summer, but sadly had to miss it! My godparents still sell sausages at a cart there :) Have always dreamed of seeing Wrigley.

jals

Lori, It was a fun vacation! I googled the rooftop seating prices. They're a little steep, but they are the flavor of Wrigley Park. Luckily, I found the free parking and shuttles to and from the game that the Cubs offer. It worked really slick. There is a lot to do in Chicago!! I'll need to go through my photos from there and see if any would make a good puzzle.

jals

I would love to see Fenway Park. Is it still standing. I can't keep track but thought that was one they were not using any longer. Hope I'm wrong.
Laughing at the 6-7 yr. old you were repeating what you heard your grandfather say.

farrell

I agree O&A & Iris...being a RedSox fan, my father, uncle & grandfather NEVER saw their team win a world series! But I think its just in the DNA ... once & always a fan. Wonerful that 'baseball' is just enmeshed in all our childhood memories. I was once (age 6 or 7) on a live, local news broadcast after the Yankees beat the Sox, my Grandfather took me to Fenway...and I repeated what he had said about the Yankees "Next time we will kick those Yankee a**es!".....SO BAD!!!! My mother was humiliated :)))) --- P.S. I ALWAYS cheer for whoever is playing the Yankees (he he)

irisriver

You describe it perfectly oldandancient. Being in Cincinnati area I support Bengals Football and Reds Baseball even if it is a bad season. When my own teams are not in the running I often go with the underdog or team in same league as my home teams. Sportsmanship Smiles!☺

wjl1015

Honestly I have to say that was more fun than going to the Reds game and watching from a luxury sky box (my first time in a box) with free food and drinks!!! Thank you all!!
☆⭐️☆⚾☆❤️☆⚾☆⭐️☆⚾☆❤️☆⚾☆⭐️☆

farrell

So Happy for you Morris!!!! I am sure you're celebrating too! (Don't think for a second I will forget about that pic tho!) :)))

Judy...that sounds like a great vacation...would have loved to see Wrigley in person!

"Happy Birthday" to your son Bev! Great present! ♥

Iris & Joe...that was FUN, FUN, FUN! Thank you! ♥

farrell

O&A....I am SO happy for all of you 'lifers'...it's so exciting! ~ Now you can celebrate for Ernie Banks & all of those great players! One thing will change..young Cubs fans' will expect this every year & will get used to it ! :) (I listened to 'Stairway to Heaven' on YouTube afterwards , before going to bed. ♫) ♥♥♥♥♥ !!! YAY CUBS !!! ♥♥♥♥♥

irisriver

What a crazy fun night it was! Yay Cubs!!!!!

jals

Great win for the Cubs! We got to see the World Series winning team in September when we went to Chicago for a short vacation. I loved Wrigley Field with their roof top seating and their ivy covered walls. Although I'm not traditionally a Cubs fan, I was rooting for them this year because they were the under dog and we had just watched them play. I have cousins who grew up in Chicago also who are Cubs fans so I'm happy for them also. We try to see a baseball game wherever we travel. In the past we've been able to see the Seattle Mariners, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Kansas City Royals, the D.C. Nationals, and the Cubs.

wjl1015

Great present Bev!!!

Nov. 02....My son's 50 th Birthday.....what a present he got.....he is Die Hard Cubs!!!

morris186

They actually did it!!!!
Will try to find the pic, later!

farrell

YAY IRIS !!!!!! that's so great! (BIG SMILES!)

wjl1015
