Hi @ladyblue. Yes, we have been around for quite a while now. I wish I knew what happened to Sachi/Sachio/Tephanes from Japan.

ladyblue

Yes, @sue1 June and I joined the same year, with her anniversary being a little after mine. She would remember every year and wish me happy anniversary. Without her I don't notice it going by as much. :(

seagull

i still go back and resolve some of her puzzles. miss her.

sue1

I still think of June so often. She had joined Jigidi very early on.

unicorndisney

its ok @Trouble_and_Frog

Trouble_and_Frog

I agree wholeheartedly with Kirsten's comments below (RandomWorship). She has put into words my own thoughts much better than I could ever have done.

Welcome to Jigidi Amy. It is so good to meet you I'm just sorry it couldn't have been under happier circumstances. I too miss June and your idea is fantastic. It will help many of us knowing that someone is carrying on her work . . . thank you . . . Su

unicorndisney

@RandomWorship it's ok like I said she loved me she called me her angel

RandomWorship

@unicorndisney Hi Amy. Just wanted to thank you for all you did for our beloved June. She had such a big impact here - not just from her beautiful kaleidos, but her dry, quirky humour was wonderful too. And while she was kind, she was courageous as well - and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. I also loved the snippets of her life that she would share with us.

It would be amazing to see her unposted work. Thank you too, for securing it. Although I think it will be bittersweet in a way, to see it. ❤❤❤

unicorndisney

thank you she used you tell about you lot lot from time to time but her memory faded @lelabugosi

lelabugosi

Tomorrow, I'll sort out some of my old puzzles, where we had parties with 'Juneee', and post the links here.

unicorndisney

@lelabugosi thank you

lelabugosi

Looking forward to seeing them - welcome!

unicorndisney

@latifa I know she was a huge part of my daily routine it was hard at first even now like I miss her beeping me she really like the beep idea but it was a walkie talkie she defo left a huge hole I know none of us can fill but maybe doing classic collection will be a reminder shes still with us even in spirt when i moved her stuff over to my PC to keep safe there was a lot of items but i would half are puzzles

latifa

Welcome to jigidi, Amy! June is still missed by many. Someone mentioned to me just recently.

unicorndisney

I will try to tag as many as I can @gemstone

gemstone

A "classic collection" would be lovely, Amy. Be sure and tag the people who have commented here with your first post so that they can add you to their "Favourites" and not miss further puzzles. I would recommend a small, medium, and large puzzle at first just to see what sizes people prefer. 💕

unicorndisney

@gemstone I have her pictures I have thought about posting them and naming them as a classic collection she loved me to bits if her son went round she was disappointed but if i went she would try her best to tell me how to help

gemstone

@unicorndisney Welcome, Amy...I do remember you from the occasional mention in June's postings. Thank you for popping in here. 🙂🙂🙂

unicorndisney

well i guess i should tell you tell al i decided to change my name my real name as i didn't feel right with using my real name which was Amy i was junes caregiver or one of them

ParsonWayne

Welcome to Jigidi, UD. Watch out for the punsters. They are everywhere on Jigidi.

Surreal_Heidi

Thank you for this note, @unicorndisney. ❤️ I see you just joined us today. As a relative of June's, you're more than welcome here. You're already a member of our JIGIDI family. I hope you decide to spend time with us here. It's a fun place with some great people.

davie

Oh no. Oh no. I wish I hadn't gotten back on, or I wouldn't have seen this.

June, you brought so much pleasure to so many folks, for such a long time. Few of us will probably ever be able to say the same. Hope you are existing on in pure joy.

I loved June's puzzles. Just tried to find some new ones to work and saw these posts. She will be missed.

Surreal_Heidi

I've been missing from Jigidi, and just learned that Juneee is gone!!!! She was an incredible lady with an awesome attitude and love of life, from what I saw of her here.

You were very much loved, and are greatly missed, June. Rest In Peace.

Rest In Peace, thank you for all the lovely puzzles, I too would start each day with your puzzles. You are missed.

brittflok

Rest in peace, June. I love your puzzles so much. It is a daily gift during the school year. I just logged in today after a summer hiatus and you are no longer with us.
I will do and re-do your puzzles for as long as I teach. The simple beauty makes me very, very happy.
You touched so MANY lives, even though you lived far away from so many of us.
Thank you. I will remember you. And that which is remembered, lives.
-Brittany in Iowa (USA)

You were my bestest puzzle for so many years. so sad to see you go. Luck you left me with such an archive. Thanks Juneshone.

I only knew June through her puzzles - but got a sense of a lovely woman through the comments she would post. Will be sadly missed. RIP juneshone.

Trouble_and_Frog

Thank you for calling me to this puzzle. I am sorry that the news was not good but I hope that June will be able to have a well deserved rest now that she will no longer be suffering.

Rest In Peace June . . Jigidi will not be the same without our little ray of sunshine . . . XX

parrotman33

Jeribar8, Thanks for letting me know that June had passed away. I had noticed she hadn't been posting puzzles. We used to comment from time to time as she didn't live a million miles away from me.

You will be missed by many. XXX

Not close by five .... :-/...... thanks for the tag @jeribar8
Sorry a friend has passed..

firstdawn

@psmcgavock13 I was visiting 2 other puzzle sites and one day found Jigidi which I feel is far superior to the other 2 sites. Eventually I became friends with parrotman33 and from there I have made friends with many people. I was invited to Joes Place and here I am!

irisriver

So rough when a member of our community is lost. Through her puzzles she will remain a part of us for sure. Hearts to her family and eternal peace to her. ♥♥♥

HOW DID SOME OF YOU LONG TIME PUZZLEMAKERS FIND OUT ABOUT JIGIDI.COM WHEN IT WAS BEGINNING?
I joined 4 years ago, thanks to a link that my daughter sent and solved some of June's puzzles that week. I still have 25 more in my Bookmark section. I noticed that scrolling through the new Mosaics each day doesn't take as long--those 4 puzzles that June posted each day are missing and it makes a difference! I miss her, but am glad that she found her niche and entertained us with her artwork and comments.

sue1

Hi Char. I see Ardy and lela have answered you. Thanks, y'all.

ringleader

From June's profile page: my other profiles are Noggin - karli - gollum and Jenna.

frauhugs

some of you may nor know that June also posted under the name
gollum
i know there were more but i am unable to remember them right now.
@sue1 - do you remember?

RandomWorship

It's so wonderful that the friendships that June made here, and the puzzles that she made, gave her life meaning and joy. Thanks for reminding me of that, Sue. It makes me smile, at a sad time.❤

seagull

i've been going back and solving some of her old puzzles - they are new all over again. don't know where i found this info, but to jump back just go to her page and in your address bar after her name - add /page no/

sue1

Hi LadyBlue and Kirsten. I don't think Magnus pulls any of the puzzles anymore. There are still some of Sachi's left - and other people. Once the internet grew and expanded, it wasn't necessary anymore. Hers should be here to solve for a long time. I just wanted Magnus to know what Jigidi meant to June. Way back then, she said she felt old and useless - depressed. Well, Jigidi changed that and she grew to have more friends than could ever have been thought. He said he was glad to know a bit more about her, and that they used to correspond quite often as Jigidi was beginning.

RandomWorship

(Just re-posting what I said on Char's puzzle here too)

Hi Sue. I haven't known June as long as you - but for around 9 years. I'm finding it very hard to adjust too. I would always finish my day with her. And yes, I loved her puzzles. But it was more than that. She had a cracking personality. I miss her too. Terribly. I have no more words to describe how I feel.

But I do want to thank you for reaching out to Magnus. I was thinking about how Mette asked for stories from users on her first Jigidi Post. And it occurred to me that it would be nice if they would post a tribute to June too. June made puzzles for Jigidi for more than 10 years, and through that, made a substantial contribution to the success of Jigidi. And she always said nice things about Jigidi, and made Magnus and Jigidi birthday cards and the like. It would be lovely to see them honour her too.

Hugs, Sue. We grieve for June together. ❤❤❤

ladyblue

@sue1 I hope by letting them know it won't mean her puzzles will be pulled. I was going to go back through them and solve some again.
Wow! I never really thought about it, but yes she posted 4 a day (maybe not lately) so that certainly adds up.
Yes, I remember when it was just the bare bones. They've certainly come a long way since then. :)

sue1

I let Magnus, TPTB, know about June. Of course, going way back then, he corresponded with us often, answering all the jigidi mail by himself. He said over her 11+ years she had posted over 12, 000 puzzles, most of them her own creations. Long ago she posted the Theme Week reminders - back when we first started them. Then Sharen/Ruglady did for awhile (she has disappeared from Jigidi) and then I took it over. A lot of the early puzzles are long gone as back then, there was no way to store that much information, so puzzles had to be deleted. I miss her a lot.

Bex_7

Goodbye June, I didn't know you like others did but you gave me hours of fun solving your lovely puzzles. Thank you and rest peacefully. You will be missed greatly.

ladyblue

@sue1 Sachi is another one who has disappeared over the years. I like her puzzles too.

I agree @Huggorm. :(

Huggorm

I have done her 400 pieces puzzle every day for 8 years now. Even if I knew this would come it sure feels empty now :(

sue1

Hello dear ladyblue. It's been a long time together. Once in awhile when I am looking back over Sachi's wonderful puzzles, I come across your name. @ladyblue

ladyblue

When I returned home from a week away and didn't see June puzzles waiting, I was afraid this had happened.
As did many, I started every morning with her puzzles for over a decade. Our Jigidi anniversaries were very close and she always remembered to wish me happy anniversary.
She was a sweet soul and I hope she is at peace now. She definitely leaves a big hole which can't be filled.
Thank you Amy and Char for letting us know.

sue1

@den1 Glad you heard about this Denise. We are the old timers for sure. I remember taking my profile name from yours, adding a 1 to my Sue. It's been a long time. I'll miss our Lady June.

den1

June joined jigidi only a couple of weeks after me back in 2008. In those 11 years she brought much joy to so many people. She had a delightful sense of humour and a real warmth about her. I am so glad she died so peacefully and doing a Sudoku. It seemed a fitting end for this fine lady

seagull

so many of us will miss you, Lady June. thank you for all the enjoyment you have given us over the years.

JiggyBelle

RIP, June. What a wonderful and talented woman who touched so many people's lives.I'm so happy that she went peacefully and with a Sudoku in her hand. Goodbye Lady June.

MomCat2000

This is a huge loss for the jigidi community. Every now and then, she let bits and pieces of her life experiences seep out into our conversations. She was truly a remarkable person. She gave so many people happiness with the puzzles she created and that we looked forward to every day. She will really be missed.

sue1

June joined Jigidi just a few days after me and we have been friends every since. Back when the Yahoo Jigidi Group was tiny, we talked every day, wrote round robin stories and had such fun. Her health has not been good, and we thank Amy for letting us know. We joked about winning the lottery and gathering all our group and going on a cruise. I will miss her so much, as will all of you. With her brother dying just a while ago and she has missed the son that passed away long ago, so I hope she is with them now and her sweet dog Noggin.

sue1

Char (frauhugs) made a memorial puzzle for June. She included a message from Amy that she sent to us at the Jigidi Group to let us know that June went peacefully in her sleep. Amy (her caregiver) found her with a Sudoku puzzle in her lap and a pen in her hand.

Gaillou

June you have left a hole in my heart and my Jigidi day. You truly were the Kaleidos Queen, Lady June. Loved your puzzles, your wit, your intelligence, your friendship. I just looked back at some of our emails. You will be missed.

cakes1947

Farewell dearest June. Like many others my first solves of the day were by June, a great pleasure they were. You'll be sadly missed but you did leave us laughing many times & you'll always be the first Kaleido Queen ever.
Love you ❤️

porgy

Thanks lela for notifying me.
Almost every morning since 2011 I have solved june's puzzles. Rest in peace june, you will be missed by many and quite a few of us have many happy memories of you throughout the jigidi sit!

SandiT

Rest in Peace, dear June! You will be missed by your many Jigidi friends. I looked forward to your puzzles and loved your quick wit and wonderful sense of humor.

RandomWorship

My (kaleido) heart is broken. June was my "first kaleido love" on Jigidi, and remained so - for nearly 10 years. But she didn't just make wonderful puzzles. She had such a feisty personality, and a dry and wonderful humour. And such an interesting life and experiences. I adored her character. Her loss leaves a great hole in my Jigidi life, that can't be filled by anyone else.......

Shian2

RIP, June, you will be missed by many.

With heavy heart, I send my sorrow and condolences to June's family and friends. I have enjoyed her wonderful postings day in and day out. RIP, June. Wanda

June was a force to be reckoned with...intelligent, witty, hard working (running a pub), practical, creative, and most importantly: fun-loving! Plus, she loved Noggin...even when he wouldn't listen! We need more people like June in this world of ours. Blessings, June. ❤️❤️❤️

BarbaraL

So sad, she was one of the earliest members on the jigidi forum, I would love to think she has been reunited with her son and happy.

lelabugosi

Goodbye, Juneee ....... you will be greatly missed, indeed.

art4sight

RIP dearest June. My heart goes out to her family and all who loved her in her real world. She was just as loved in her virtual world. She shared with us her humor, her talent, and her graciousness. She has been so much of Jigidi that to say she will be missed is an understatement.

cakes1947

I finally decided on 5 favorites. The *Top Middle*, *Right Middle*, *Right Bottom*, *Left Bottom* and *Left Middle*. Many thanks again, June ... Hugs (♥‿↼)
