Robbie's (porgy) wife, Jenny, literally tossed a number of them outside on a pile of dirt by the stairs and they took root and bloomed all on their own...mind you, that's in Bermuda. ;DDD

Mine grows in the garden, but most people grow them indoors.

Impie

They're lovely, Bren, it's the same colour as my Amaryllis! ♥

Jumble

Is it just a houseplant or can it grow in the garden now?

And they are so easy to grow

Brie1648

It produces the most amazing flowers; each one of those buds turns into a bloom about 5-6 inches in diameter. The plant grows almost visibly, almost an inch a day!
I'll pst the bloom from when it flowered in mid December. They are truly spectacular.

Amaryllis?

Jumble

What flower does this produce once fully opened Bren?
