I love you JiggyBelle avatar Jan. So cute. Usually my boys will head off to the fields behind the property but if I don't give them a walk at night then there is always a gift in their pen for me in the morning :-))
Well it sure looks a lot different right now Mimi. I'll take a picture later to show you. The temp is right at 0 and no wind so it's perfect for a walk. I would miss the change of season. I just wish that our winters weren't quite so long :-))
The boys are wonderful Edie, I love this picture! I can't comprehend your kind of weather. Today the temperature here was about 65F and cloudy, and we were all shivering. Thin Southern blood I fear! ☺☃☺
Luke and Cole are very busy with a bone. I love this photo, and your new avatar. Thanks so much Edie. Enjoy the beautiful Sunday, I hope that it will be warmer ☺☻ hugs dear friend
These guy get just under two cups in the morning and one cup in the evening plus a lunch treat and a large biscuit at lock up time and little treats here and there. They were 116 each in May and the vet wanted them down to 110. I think they're up between 125-130 again.
I have had my black lab Guinness on a diet for two years now. I give her a cup in the moring and a cup in the evening and she still weighs 90 pounds when she should be 60.
Yes they do Ank and since the vet thinks they're overweight they now get them only once every 4-5 days but they still get lots of other treats as well.
Lovely to see a new pic with Luke and Cole enjoying the sunshine, Edie. Wasn't nearly as cold as I had anticipated this morning when I went out. The wind picked up coming home though and it's a real mix of sun and cloud now. Enjoy the rest of your day. :-)
Have a good chew Luke and Cole. Looks different there now. Edie. I figure that about Fluffy too. She's probably too heavy but she stays outside in kinds of weather so I don't worry about it. I think that extra fat helps keep her warm.
and when they can't get it all I come along with a chopstick and poke the rest out for them. I figure they need the extra fat in the winter to stay warm. That's what I tell their vet, anyways. :-)
