Why are you reporting this puzzle?

I was trying to find the "v" in the race so I could oil my machine and Chef suggested this for a puzzle. Meanwhile, I'm still trying to find the "v."

Judy you should oil your machine. My first Bernina was in l985 and I loved it. My daughter has it now (collecting dust) and hopes to sew on it. (that's me laughing you hear). I do remove the plate and clean out under the needle etc. and I oil my machine frequently. My very first sewing machine (l964 made by Royal) --hardly ever oiled it. Ran like a dream and I had it 21 years. A day without sewing is a day without sunshine.

I have a Bernina (electronic only - about 30 years old). I never put it away, or cover it as I use it almost every day. Also, it has only been professionally cleaned once or twice. I never have oiled it and it runs great! And I never change a needle in it unless I break one!

Thanks for sharing. I watched the video. GREAT close up shots. I appreciate your taking the time to send this to me. Oh, by the way, I did oil the machine. I have a B560 and what I get on my screen is a large oil can. The quilt shop said to oil every 5 days if you do a lot of sewing. I do it less than that or if my machine does the clunk, clunk sound. Anyway, thanks for your input.

Thanks, donatode.

Bernina is a Swiss made sewing machine. I have attached a photo that may help you quilt65.

Well, my compliments to Chef. (Sorry, like so many before me, I couldn't resist.) This had me running in circles with my mouse. Meanwhile, what is a race and what is a Bernina?
