Why are you reporting this puzzle?

"Tom Sawyer" is the title character of the Mark Twain novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876). The fictional character's name may have been derived from a jolly and flamboyant chief named Tom Sawyer with whom Twain was acquainted in San Francisco, California, while Twain was employed as a reporter at the San Francisco Call. Mark Twain later changed his story saying Sawyer was fully formed solely from his imagination.

Love the tapestry effect xxx no more post only watsups and emails xxx Hugs

Interestingly, a U.S. 8-cent stamp was that amount only between 1971-74. They went up to 10-cents in March '74. So this one is at least 46 years old. ♥♥♥

A home reading report in HS... thanks for reminding me Marina.

Thank you Janet!

You have a point here Jillian. Receiving a letter with any stamp on is a rarity now. It seems very few people keep writing letters not to mention sending and receiving Christmas Cards.. I miss them.

What a fun stamp thanks Marina, hugs to you. ♥

What fun it would be to receive a letter in the post with that stamp on. Great thanks Marina
