The leaves look more like a Thanksgiving cactus, but I have teeny-tiny flower buds. Since it's outside all year round, the California climate might screw up it's flowering "clock". We are just starting to have yellow tree leaves with a few fallen leaves.

Dobra, Thanks dear friend❣️🤗❣️

thehappyknitter2019, glad you stopped by and left a comment❣️ I really know about the Easter cactus until recently 😊

Val, Thanks and Hugs my friend❣️🤗❣️

Janet, I wouldn’t think anything different😊 When your orange cactus bloom I would love to see a post of it❣️ Thanks Janet.. Hugs my friend❣️🤗❣️

Dawn, you have a point and maybe doing things a little different from now on will help the situation😊..Where in CA do you live? I’ve lived in WLA, Culver City, Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, Ventura and last in Santa Paula❣️

Ardy, I didn’t either until my momma cactus showed her unhappiness a year ago and I went to the great Internet and got all the answers and more…like this post…and I thought I share it and maybe others would enjoy knowing❣️ You are most welcome and Hugs my friend❣️🤗❣️

2010August, Thanks for your information ❣️

Eva, it's a great tool! :-)

I didn't know there was a Easter and Thanksgiving cactus I knew about the Christmas cactus.

Interesting information thank you Eva, I only know the Christmas Cactus that we call inch plant Hugs my friend ♥♥♥

Very pretty thanks Eva, I have all three types. Hugs ♥♥

I am wondering if fertilizing and watering it in the winter screwed and delayed the development of the flowers. Also being in California, spring does arrive in February.

Thank you, Eva. I wasn't aware of an Easter cactus until your earlier puzzle today. Hugs dear friend♥♥

Thanksgiving Cactus: in Germany: Christmas cactus

When you posted your gorgeous cactus in bloom I looked at the leaves and to me they looked different and the blooms being fluffier also made me think it’s not a Christmas cactus..but I was wrong as the Easter cactus is orange in color❣️
