Hello mother123456, thanks for working this puzzle! Wellll, I guess they do kinda look like cowboy boots, but I doubt if there’s any real cowboys / cowgirls around that area. This small town sits at the base of the Italian range of Alps :)) But who knows, she may have ordered them online! My guess is they’re just ankle boots, but I could be wrong. Hi Larry, yeah I lost my buddy last year, I know how it feels. Lucy was a senior dog ... Uhm, my guess is the lady is wearing ankle boots. Seemed like all the women dressed very stylish over there :)

Sigh, I sure miss my buddy. (Are those Cowboy boots?)
