I've checked before I took the photo....these two different coloured flowers bloom in one and the same plant. It's a seedling Liertje planted from other Gazania plants in the pergola planter.☺☺

You could be right, Anne, I'm not sure how it exactly works, but the seedling must be from the original plant with the yellow and orange striped flowers in the planter. :)

Wonderful. I'd say babray is right about that. I suspect it's because they are seeds from former plants which tend to not stay true to the originals (kind of genetic wandering in hybrids). But I could really be wrong too.

I keep saying it, Mother Nature is having a ball playing tricks in your garden this summer! ☺☺☺
