These photos were taken 513km/277miles apart on our recent cruise - but the islands look identical.
The 'blues' was taken in the Whitsunday Islands & the 'greys' as we were leaving Cairns.

Thanks Jim - yes, the Great Barrier Reef is off the coast at Cairns - but it is 2,300kms long!!! It's the same length as the west coast of the USA - from Vancouver to the Mexican border!!! ( I had to look that fact up:))))) It start a couple of hundred kms north of Brisbane, where I live, and extends right up the coastline almost to Papua New Guinea!!

Thanks Florrie - I liked the contrast :))

Thanks Lorna - I do too!!!

I'm pleased you liked them Jana - thanks!!!

That's good news Lyndee - where to? Thanks!!

Thanks Suzy - I did too!!

LOL!! I did, I did.....but not quite this big Dave...that would have been a bit scary:))))) Thanks!!!

Love the cool blue waters in the bottom picture, although I know off Cairns It's just as blue, makes a difference what time of day the pictures were taken. Thanks Rob, both lovely photos.
