Why are you reporting this puzzle?
The "little black and white singing hawk," as the native Americans of New Jersey called it. Shrikes are songbirds that behave like small hawks, catching insects, small rodents, and even small birds. They impale their catch on thorns like those seen in this photo as their feet are not as powerful as those of actual raptors.
