Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Amazingly green water, all from snow melt, in this lake. There's virtually no algae in the very cold water.
Park maps say it's a 1.2 mile walk, but 75% is either going up or down.

Re: Portland. I still work in east Portland, which has stayed calm and "normal." However, I also make and sell gem trees as a hobby-gone-out-of-control, and some of my 'trees' are sold at a shop in downtown Portland. That shop was boarded up and closed until about two weeks ago. They still don't dare stay open after dark.

Example of the level of idiocy exhibited by the local leaders:
Sunday---Rioter arrested for destruction of property and violence against officers and others.
Monday---District Attorney, agreeing with instructions from the Mayor and City Council, released the guy without 'charges', since he's just a "peaceful protester".
Tuesday---Same man arrested for starting grass fires along Interstate 5, south of Portland.

What's life like where you live? We may be considering a move.

Just sayin, I would guess you are glad to be out of Portland.

Beautiful scene. Thank you. 9-16-2020
