the North Sea is just about warm enough on the very edge, about 2 inches deep on a hot day - as for going in in a swimming costume - er, only if I wanted a heart attack :o))

I said exactly the same when I saw them, Bren.

I don't think that I would notice one iota of difference between the North Sea in winter versus the North Sea in summer! ;DDD

There have been a couple of idiots doing that here. Then they get into trouble and expect the Lifeboat men to rescue them.

On the live webcam of Scheveningen boulevard we saw some tough guys surfboarding in the Northsea whilst Snow storm Darcy raged over our country!

I love the sea when it's like this but long for the return of the summer.

Brrrr - majestic, in its way, but definitely no day for a paddle.

Not a day for a paddle!

Brrrr it looks so cold.
