Dorset Sunset - 16th December 2020

I live in a small city and we have done our best to avoid other people. No hair cuts, no dinners out, our groceries are ordered online and placed in the trunk of our car. I have entered the fabric store, meat market, and farm store for our birdseed but we wear masks I made and sanitize our hands when we return to our car. If cars are parked around we wait for times when fewer people are present. I am struggling now in the winter because it is too cold to stay out in our yard. I have not ridden my horse since March because there are too many young people around the stables.

It does make a big difference to our lives; I've noticed that friends who live in towns aren't doing as well emotionally and feel restless and hemmed in during lockdowns. Let's hope the vaccines work as they should.
