Why are you reporting this puzzle?

If Sibu is by himself, then he walks straight into the basin when he intends to have a swim. That is different as soon as there are more possible participants in a pool party. A couple of days ago, our big guy walked to the waterside to rinse off a branch before eating it, something elephants normally don’t do. Vinh and Yindee joined him, and immediately a typical Dutch phenomenon occurred: having a meeting before deciding. The elephants can stand endlessly at the waterside, deliberating. Might the swim vote need a two-third majority? Sometimes the result of such lengthy meetings is that our friends forgo on the pool party and decide on foraging. Fortunately, in this case, Sibu, Vinh and Yindee decided on a swim! They had my vote!

Yes, those meetings. Often on the same subject, and everybody repeating the same things, @Darklldo2! Of course, our elephants do communicate a lot as well, but it really takes the form of an official meeting when they stand on the waterside together, deciding on "to swim or not to swim, that's the question!"

Yes indeed @Omoli I kept the minutes. Unfortunately I had to leave before they made a decision, but I suspect they voted for the swim. :)
That's a nice idea for them and the general view of the water. Good on Yindee having a way of drinking from it. She likes a challenge doesn't she.
It was only the other day that the co-ordinator of the Carers down here was saying she had so many meetings ahead of her she didn't know which way to turn and I said something like "and all on the same subject?"

Wonderful, @Darklldo2! So nice that you kept minutes of the meeting, jotting down what each of them was saying! It seems that here in the Netherlands, average 25% of working time is spent on meetings! It might be taking democracy a bit far when you have to allow everybody to have their say, even if the same thing gets repeated ten times! Talking about things then gets in the way of doing things.
The water spurting beside Yindee is part of the three beam fountain that goes on and off at intervals. It makes a nice feature. The elephants sometimes like to play in it, and often clever Yindee drinks water from it, knowing that it's more fresh than the water in the basin.

@Omoli
Sibu "Well, I vote we just dive in."
Vinh "Wait a moment Big Man, put your foot down, Yindee has a thought.
Yindee "No, not really, I was wondering what was making the water spurt up here beside me."
Me: So this is a typical Dutch meeting Omoli? I have to laugh you have caught, what I imagine is a good example of three people putting their heads together while they decide. Like some of those old Dutch paintings.
What is the water spurting at the side of Yindee?

Ja even de echte natuur in.

Yes, we had a few war summer days. Fortunately now it's cooler. I do not do well in warm weather, but it's very nice that increases the chance that the elephants go for a swim, @poolcue.

Looks like a nice sunny day for a pool party.

Opnieuw met plezier tot me genomen🙏🏼😊
