Walking Around The Lake
Why are you reporting this puzzle?
We're not going to walk all way around the lake...after all, it is over 20 miles of shoreline to walk.
It`s actually an old trail. Tramped out by Potawatomi Indians, it was used by early settlers on their errands. Today, local hikers think of it as a fitness course.
Never more than three feet from the water, the path cuts across the sweeping lawns of many country estates. Yet, there aren`t any No
Trespassing signs to daunt walkers. (Years ago, a property owner tried to stop walkers by pasturing steers on his lakeside land. According to an old-time resident, "People simply shot the critters.")
