Thanks for the update Shirley. I don't know when I got my current one. It's on its third large monitor though. It wasn't long after Windows 10 came out. Haven't seen any such notices here yet.

Hi Ardy, I spoke to my IT guy, he said my Computer would be okay for at least another twelve months, then I would need a new one with Windows 11 :(( I could up grade to Windows 11 but as my Computer is about 8 year old it may have problems, he said if you get 6 years out of a computer you are doing well. I'll be using the one I have until it starts giving me problems, I haven't seen any big changes as yet.

I'm going to have a talk with my IT man, Ardy, and see what he has to say before I go buying a new Computer, I just gotten use to Windows 10 don't want Windows 11.

Strange, Shirley. I haven't had any such messages here. Maybe it's a Aussie thing - or a scam. Wish I knew what to suggest. Maybe check with a reputable computer store about it. A knowledgeable salesperson should know. A good IT person would be even better if you know one. ♥

I don't know what is going on with my computer, Ardy, I keep getting messages from Microsoft saying 'Microsoft ends support for Windows 8.1 10th January 2023' ( I have Windows 8.1 on my Laptop)
And another message saying ' Windows 10 has reached the end of servicing' ( I have 10 on my All-in-one Computer)
I can up grade to Windows 11 but if my Computer is older than 4 years (mine is 71/2 year old) certain parts may not be compatible. in other words they are telling me I should buy a new computer.
