Dottie, sorry to take your space, I wanted to tell Donna I had found her a picture with a restaurant in the alps of Switzerland. It was posted today called Piz Gloria...Dottie, of course you are welcome to visit! Haney :-)
Just dropping in to say Hello. It has been (and still is) hot up this way too. I'm ready for Fall. (ha) I hope you are doing well and enjoying Boomer and your grandchildren. I'm just hanging in there hugging the A/C these days. :-)) Hope to see you again soon. Take care and hugs, my friend.
Thank you, Sweet Donna!! He was easy to love and brought so much joy and laughter to us. Yes, that's him in my Avatar! I hope your summer has been a good one! Lots of heat down our way. Hope you're staying cool!! Thanks for dropping by! Big hugs right back to you, my friend!! ◕⨼‿⨽◕
Hi, Dottie. What a beautiful story about your little dog. To take him in and love him and make his life happy is just a wonderful and selfless thing to do. GOOD FOR YOU!!!! He is a cutie, if that is him in the picture as your Avatar. Just checking in to say hello and hope you are having a good day and summer. See you next time. :-))) Lots of hugs, my friend.
He has been with us for six years now. We got him when he was about a year old...a rescue... the Vet said he was probably between 8 to 12 months old. A man saw him one night running down the side of a road and he stopped and got him. Took him to a Vet he knew. He weighed about 6 pounds then. Now he's filled out and weighs 10 pounds. They said his hair was so long and matted you could hardly see his eyes. He had not been taken good care of. Took him to a rescue center in Birmingham and they put him on Facebook. We had been looking for another dog after our little Maltese passed away. She was 17 years old. He is quite a frisky, lovable little guy. So attached to me and follows me everywhere I go in the house or outside. We named him Boomer (my husbands choice) and he fits his name to a T! :) So full of life and loves everyone! Well, you didn't ask for his life story...sorry! :D
Thank you, Haney! I had a great birthday. Daughters gave me a surprise party and one of them took hubby and I to see Mary Poppins at the Shakespeare Theatre! It was a great show!
Well, I wanted to get a head start and maybe be the first online to wish you a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY for tomorrow (August 1st). I do hope you have a beautiful day filled with nice surprises and happy times with your family. So, have a wonderful Birthday, my dear sweet friend, from me. I'm sending lots of hugs too. Happy Birthday, my friend. Remember that eating cake on your birthday does not "count." (ha, ha)
What is life without silliness anyway? That makes our day sometimes and it would be a little dull, I'm afraid without it. :))) Also, we need to add some giggles to this. (ha) Thanks, Dottie for the funnies today. I hope you have a good week.
