jals

Oh wow. That is great, Gail. I hope you have a good visit.

landal

You're right, and she is 99-3/4 after all! @jals We will be visiting my Mom tomorrow, it's all set up! πŸ˜‰

jals

Oh trust me Honey! I know all about the buying hobbies. lol
Just laugh.
I hope you did get to see your mom. They are gone much too soon.

landal

Busy, busy! @Poppibi Many thanks! πŸ˜‚

landal

Pattern buying and fabric buying are hobbies! @jals Hope you make it to the next stage. Should I prod you or just laugh?

Yesterday I dyed the shirt I sewed weeks ago!! My honey asked me who I was going to be today. πŸ₯° I think I should be a good daughter and go visit Mom!

Gail,
I am in the same boat. Last week I bought a pattern and some fabric to make my granddaughter a couple of short outfits.
My want to is much stronger than my actual doing. lol

landal

@jals You can give yourself a facial at home, but what fun is that? Me, I just smear the stuff on with a finger. I go for the neck and shoulder massage. πŸ₯°

Judy, I have so many unfinished projects that I have to slap myself for getting new ideas! Just give me a good book and I don't hear them crying for attention up there!

landal

It helps if they change something that's wrong, THEN do the reset @Isaly2 @PutterDutt

It is annoying, and changes from puzzle to puzzle, so I know it's not MY fault...

jals

I've never had a facial so I trust you that what they use looks like it.
Listen to the calling and create a fun piece.

PutterDutt

I think it does need a reset. I get mildly ill trying to deal with jumping puzzle pieces.

Isaly2

@PutterDutt go down and read about the problem Gail had. Maybe Jigidi needs to do another reset.

landal

Like icing a cake @jals! I'd love to give it a try. Reminds me of that little tiny spatula they use for facial masks! 😊

I have pix of the fireboard in many phases. It is not yet in its completed phase, it calls to me Judy. Bubbles, brights, it says, and something shiny too. For sparks! It's like making a quilt out of solids and deciding you needed some prints. Would it be appropriate to say it's a puzzle in the making? No small fireplace opening either, it's a dang big board!

jals

You know you're going to have to post a picture of your art now, don't you?
This painting looks like a lot was done with a palette knife.

landal

@jals You know, there's these great techniques they using for kids these days that teach them how to mimic an artist, or use a certain trick to produce art that looks like art to them and the rest of us. I tried painting and found the brush to be my drawback! Getting that paint on just so ain't easy... Stamps, stencils, collage... they're art too!

BTW -- I did paint a fireboard last Fall, but started using it before I felt it was finished. so I've never done a puzzle with it. I used spray paint, sponges, sponge brushes and paint markers, but no brushes. It spent the Winter in our bedroom and I miss it now that it's propped up on the hearth again.

I thought my head would fall off my neck while I worked on that thing on the dining room table. I guess that's where easels come in handy. πŸ˜‰

jals

Don't get me wrong, but sometimes when I see something like this, I think I could probably paint something like this. It does not appear hard.

mandato

πŸ˜‰ got it!

landal

@mandato It's the poppy seeds! πŸ˜‰

mandato

Yes, those flowers seem to float, don't they?.. and how do we just know they're poppies??

Sorry for your jigidi woes , I didn't experience any change but I'm not on
as often as before....controlling the addiction LOL.
Glad normal is back for you..@Isaly2 @landal

Isaly2

I believe they need to do a system reset every so often. Too many people were having problems that normally don't have problems. Hopefully by them doing a reset you won't have any problems now either!

landal

@Isaly2 I posted a comment but it wouldn't load. I got tired of waiting and closed Jigidi and when I tried to reopen it gave me a sad/sorry message, then something popped up about a system reset... I'm optimistic, it'll be better, right? πŸ˜‰

Isaly2

I don't know what happened.....all of a sudden everything is working like it should again. I will In Joy it while it lasts. I wasn't aware they did a system reset.

landal

@mandato Wax on! It sounds good to me. πŸ₯° Also, I like the abstract way the flowers were done, which makes them look so very soft...

landal

Well @Isaly2 From your name at the top of the board I'd say you liked it all right! πŸ˜‰ Does that mean your puzzle pieces are behaving? I'm experiencing slight difficulties, usually when I first begin the puzzle. They did a system reset a little bit ago...

mandato

I do too. I like the contrast between 'soft' flowers and 'strong' vase...
like strength can be gentle ...I wax lyrical LOL! TY landal.

Isaly2

Love the colors in this!
