I agree with you, I wish they could all come home NOW!!!

It was very sad. Both soldier and dog got posthumous awards for bravery. I wish they could ALL come home...Sue

They give you EVERYTHING they have!! Such a very sad story, it broke my heart Sue.

One of our soldiers was out in Afghanistan clearing mines with his sniffer dog which was a spaniel. One sad day our soldier was blown up by one of these mines, the dog was ok but a few hours later the dog died for no reason other than a broken heart, they were so bonded...Sue

Hi gemstone ~ Most people don't realize how often these service dogs put their lives on the line for our military personnel to save them!! They needed honoring too. :)))))))))))
