Probably returning to the Shildon Railway Museum.

My granddad used to drive one of these repairing roads in the 50s.

GreenManJewellery

Might well have been Bill (From a Facebook posting) "The Return of Albert. Armstrong Whitworth steam roller 12R19, named Albert went back to Bishop Auckland today where it was new in the 1920s and last visited in 1943 when it was sold to Cumbria."

And yesy, it was a long slow climb up the hill for them both. :)

He's got a long, slow climb ahead of him! I remember seeing one of these working when I was a kid in Bishop Auckland; might even have been this one.
