You think wrong scottlal--Maybe. This was formed by water flowing through and carving out the opening. At least that is the distinction made by the people of the National Park Service who designate this as a bridge. I am just taking their word that this is a bridge not an arch. Didn't look any different than many arches I have seen. There was evidence that water could run through the area under the bridge after rainfall.
