Good girl! When I taught Head Start Preschool many years ago, I brought a small Rainbow Boa snake into the class for the kids to handle. No one was forced, but everyone was encouraged to at least touch the snake. Peer pressure made some of them handle the boa, and they were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't scary at all. Of course we talked about the fact that all snakes should only be handled when the kids were with an adult.
