The puzzle mentioned is 130 pc "View from atop Bowman's Hill Tower...."

It was actually built of local field stone in 1929-31 to commemorate the Hill itself, which oral tradition says may have been a lookout point for Washington’s troops to watch for enemy activity on the Delaware River. (I just published another puzzle of the "view" from that vantage point, which shows the Delaware River and surrounding area.)

I'm wondering what that history is...does it date back to Colonial times? There's a similar, and similarly mysterious, tower in Dayton, Ohio, in the suburb of Oakwood.
