Holiday Tree 2016

I've enjoyed her calendars for a few years now, but this was my favorite setting. :-)))

I recognized this tree the second I saw it! I bought JL's Seaside Advent this year, too, haha.

Would love to see a puzzle of your tree, suemarie. Traditional ornaments are very pretty. Especially when they're full of memories. Thanks for telling us about your designing and your tree.

I use some seaside ornaments on our real tree, because we vacation twice a year in Cape Ann, MA, on the Atlantic shore, and our daughter, and now our son and his family, moved there permanently, because they also love it. But most of the ornaments we use are traditional, and some were used originally in our parents' homes before that. :-)))

I love the seaside theme of the ornaments. Living in Florida, I look at Christmas cards with tropical/beach themes every Christmas Season. Think I went with holiday-decked-out flamingoes once. Otherwise, I've stuck with more traditional symbols of the holiday.
I checked out the advent calendar you mentioned; it looks delightful. It's obvious you are enjoying the one you are have. :-))

I wish it were my tree, but it's a design I made on the new advent calendar put out on the Internet by JacquieLawson. This year, the calendar is a Victorian seaside one, and some of the things you can do are to decorate wreaths, snowmen, and trees, with things representative of the seashore.
