Val, Thanks for your very kind comment❣️ I see my hobby as a good thing for the old mind but I’m not having much luck with the next one and I’m frustrated 😡 Today is the last day I’m trying to figure it out and if not I’ll move on..I started the blanket..6 rows up I couldn’t figure out the pattern and usually by then the pattern is flowing..I then made up the pattern on paper and started a granny square and again it did not come out right 😡 Hope you are having a better day❣️Hugs my friend ❣️🌸❣️

Janet, Thanks for liking the color of the blanket❣️ I try to make one blanket for both boy or girl or separate blankets..It’s how I feel at the time..I’m having a rough go for the girl blanket I started and feel like just letting go and start something new..The pattern is not coming out right and I’ve worked on it every day/evening for almost a week now and haven’t gotten anywhere 😡 very frustrating..

Had to comment again. I am looking forward to seeing the pink blanket. You are so good to create these and donate them to the hospital. I am sure whoever receives them appreciates them. My mom worked in the sewing department of a J C Penney store. One of her customers made a beautiful little blanket of woven yarn squares for her first grandchild (my older son). I brought both my children home from the hospital in it. I keep it on a doll in a lace lined and hooded rattan toy doll buggy. Someone will be treasuring your blankets forever too.

❤️༺☕️༻❤️ Eva, yes, chemo and radiation is behind me and now. I'm going in twice a month for immunotherapy which is way better than the chemo/radi. I have other issues but don't we all at our age. :)

Wanda, Thank You❣️ and if and when you get to this pattern I have to say it’s rather easy..The hard part for me was trying to figure out the pattern from a photo, after that I looked forward to the crochet part and kind of sad when it was finished❣️🌸❣️

This is beautiful. One of my favorite colors. My mom made curtains, a bedspread, refinished a vanity, and painted a large antique frame for a mirror in this color when she redecorated my bedroom in a more grown up manner when I became a teenager. I love this pattern and the alphabet incorporated into it.
