Flowers from a Nerang morning walk

I'm so glad you're all right, but my heart goes out to all the people in Australia. I can't imagine the scope of the disaster, even though I've seen a number of photographs. It's like Hurricane Katrina times 20.

We're in Victoria, much further south. We had children evacuated from work in Brisbane with the flooding however they all live on higher ground and Yasi didn't reach that far.

You have a good eye. Were you hit with Cyclone Yasi or the other flooding in Queensland?

Yes, I took the photo. Lovely bright flowers picked on a morning walk - puppy sitting while daughter and her husband overseas.
