Hello Kalola, here is the recipe, good luck and send me some please...😀

250g unsalted butter, softened
Half cup pure icing suger, sifted, plus extra 1 and a half cups,
1 free range egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste,
2 and a half cups plain flour,
1/2 teaspoon baking powder,
3/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted, chopped,
1. Preheat oven to 160 C
2. Line 2 large baking trays with baking paper,
3. Beat butter and icing sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer until pale and creamy,
4. Add egg yolk and vanilla and beat until combined,
5. Sift flour and baking powder together over butter mixture,
6. Add almonds and stir until combined and a dough forms,
7. Roll tablespoons of mixture into short logs then shape into crescents,
8. Place on trays and bake for 20 minutes or until pale golden,
9. Cool on trays for 5 minutes,
10. Meanwhile, sift one-third of the extra icing sugar over the base of a shallow tray,
11. Add half the warm biscuits,
12. Sift another one-third of the icing sugar over and add remaining biscuits,
13. Sift over remaining icing sugar,
14. Cool to room temperature and serve!
NOTE: leftover biscuits can be kept in an airtight container for up to 5 days, (but best eaten asap).
PS: please let me know how they turn out!

Hello Kalola, yes I will post the recipe for you, just give me a day or so....

Kalola

Does she have a recipe for these treats? I'd be interested if she does.

Hello glensue, I'm glad you like the picture, I'm not sure if these are like the pecan finger cookies but most likely similar, both very tasty!

I guess they are like pecan finger cookies.
