Thank you fish. Lego knows about everyone. It is the dream of every child. I love these houses: -) ... Irena

Oh, that is very special to have your brother’s bricks, and your wooden bricks. Legos rule now, LOL.

Sharon72

I still have my brother's and my old wooden bricks with the pressed paper green roof that looks similar to the one in your puzzle. Mine are from the mid 40's. The bricks had little pegs to hold them together. Sadly the box is gone. Perhaps they were a precursor to yours. Now a days, my grandson surrounds me with Legos.

Fishes

Most welcome, Joe. I’ve given most of them to my nephews kids. They are enjoying them. It’s much better than sitting in the attic. I did save some for our family.

These were so much fun!! Thanks for the memory!! :))

Fishes

Although, you have taken it to a much higher level, building all that you have built, very impressive!

Fishes

I am right there with you, mble111911!

dbnc2, I agree those bricks were so much fun.

Your wooden set sounds like fun also, Iris.

ABSOLUTELY Remember these!!! I would play for hours...loved the pegs that held the doors so you could open and close them...and the almost clear windows...I would make barns for my small horse figurines (yup, I'm a country girl)...for the larger, whole farm layout I would just make a two brick high outline of all the buildings...so much fun and learning...as I grew up I designed many of my own sheds, outbuildings, and just this year my own full-size barn...I like to build my inside stalls as moveable structures using concrete blocks, 2 layers high, without mortar and add mesh wire above for the walls...I have reconfigured my previous barns many times to accomidate changing livestock....probably all because of those AMAZING BRICKS!!!
Thank you for posting this puzzle and bringing back such great memories.

would have loved that when I was a little girl many years ago

So cute! Before my time but I love this! Grins!☺ I had a miniature wooden play set with mini trees, wood blocks that could be turned into houses, pieces to make fences and much more. It all fit into a Christmas stocking. Grins!☺
