The precious furbaby you see is 13 year old Yoshi. He was my husband's dog. They were devoted to each other. Yoshi was rescued from a shelter when he was 2 years old by some friends of ours. They had him a couple of months when we went over for dinner. It was love at first sight. Yoshi attached himself to my husband. That night when he wasn't n his lap, he was beside him. He whined when we left. It was the same the next few times we got together. The day after Christmas they called and said," Come get your dog!" So Yoshi the rescued Malti-Poo, rescued us 11 years ago.
He is getting older now... He's going blind and he's hard of hearing but he and I help each other through the bad days. I can't imagine life without him.

Just wanted to drop a line and say hello and wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year! I think about you and your precious Wendy often! As we both know losing a child is the hardest thing a parent can ever go through....
In July of 2019 i also lost my beloved husband of 47 years. it has been hard. Somedays I didn't even want to get out of bed. But, I am Blessed to know that I WILL see my husband and my daughter again! God Bless and Keep you my Jigidi friend! :o) chris

Hi Bev, I am now looking nostalgically at the puzzles I completed many years ago and found this.
Poor dog ... instead in the kennel he must sleep on the sofa.
Mine does the same thing (and sometimes sleeps on the bed).

My speed is very s-l-o-w but is the exercise of my brain that I am after.
I don't particularly like puzzles but I like these pictures, so there is the compromise. And If I need to feel better about my speed, I make sure I do the puzzle before I publish it so that I get the congratulations message. Ha ha hah

I also wanted to tell you that I saw your note on Teresa's page (tere_a1) and her sister's name is Cecilia and her puzzle name is CECE1974. I have messaged her and ask if she would let us know about Teresa but she has not been on Jigidi for a couple of years so I don't know if she has seen my message or not but I haven't received an answer from her and I haven't heard for Teresa either. I hope they are okay and that Teresa is doing well. The last I heard from Teresa, she was improving and going to be okay. That was many months ago.

Hi Bev, I see that you check this page some times and I have noticed thru the years that you do a lot of the same puzzles as I do. I admire your perseverance in doing these puzzles. You always appreciate and comment on the puzzles. I just wanted to let you know people notice and appreciate your comments. I am afraid I take advantage of the great pictures uploaded and follow several people regularly but don't always acknowledge that, thank you for being a good ambassador for the users of jigidi.

Bev, I've been away form Jigidi for a while.
I just heard about the passing of your beautiful Wendy! My heart breaks for you!
I lost my beautiful Sheranda in Feb. 2016.
There are no words to ease your grief. No words to offer you comfort. There will be many times that you cry. The pain inside never goes away, but it does becomes bearable. Hold on to your memories because those will comfort you!
When my daughter died I wondered at times if she had really existed at all. Because I felt so empty! But talking about her, calling her by name in our conversations, sharing memories with each other and sharing lots and lots of pictures kept her with us!
I miss her, I miss her smile, I miss the special person that she was...

I didn't know Wendy, but I bet she loved you beyond measure! Cherish those memories and Keep them in your heart! I will keep you in my prayers! ~Chris

Oh Bev, I am so sorry. I've lost a few dogs in my long life and it's SO HARD!! I always say I'll never get another one...it hurts too bad when they leave...but I always do. They are so very special. Sending big HUGS to you, Bev!

Thank you so very much Donna. I loved your words. Some days are ok for me and then a word, a site a memory hits home and I tend to fall apart. I do recover, and she would not want me to be sad all the time. She would always say to me "mom I'm gonna be fine". :)) Thank you again. 8-24-18

I just found out that you lost your precious daughter, Wendy, and my heart goes out to you. I have been praying for her (and you) for several months now and, as hard as it is to lose her, like you said, she is "at rest now" and no one can imagine the loss you feel unless they have been through it. I just pray for your comfort and peace of mind knowing that she knew you loved her so much. It is so hard losing our loved ones but somehow we go on because "life" goes on. Dear bevpuzzler8 -- I just realized that you lost two of your dogs in such a short time recently. I want to tell you how much I feel for your losses of these two beloved family members. Phil and I have had many dogs over our 58 years of marriage, so we, too, have experienced this particular loss but we have never lost two lovely dogs within a short time. My sweet, lovely Wendy passed away July 27,2018 and we buried her August 01....I shall miss her.
She fought and good fight. She is my first born 1959.------------------------------8-3-18..9:36pm

Just thought I'd drop by and tell you that Wendy is still on my prayer list. I think of you "both" when I pray. I will continue to do so with hopes that the tumor gets smaller and she is able to breathe better and without the oxygen. I saw where you wrote Montine about that and I'm so sorry to hear that but we will never give up -- we keep praying with much hope. Take care of yourself too. Hugs for both of you.

Awww, she looks so comfy & peaceful. I live in southern Oregon, where the snow stays mainly on the surrounding hills & mountains, & we like it that way. We have snow here in our valley almost every winter, but it usually last a few days, then it melts. My heartfelt prayers go out to those "Back East" & in the Midwest, that you all stay safe & warm in the storms.

You lucky guy. I have three granddaughters and they do snow removal, when not is school.
I love being out and moving snow. I don't shovel anymore, I have a long handled,light weight snow plow I just push and leave, never heave..

Today, Wendy received her 5th radiation t/ment for her leg. After it was done she started coughing and coughing and up came blood. For a pre-caution Doctor sent her for a chest x/ray this all happened about noon today and I'm still waiting to hear from my son-in-law.
He is fifty miles away and it began to snow with a vengeance about 1:30pm.
I just had to vent a bit. I get so alarmed. Wendy is my first born.

To answer your question bevpuzzler, I am 86, born 3/10/31. The photo was taken Christmas of 2012. My sister is 89 and looks 75. We have both kept our looks a little younger. I think the Lord still has something for us to do here. My wife died June 2007. I just wait to see whet he has plans for me is all I can say. Okay?

Oh, yes talk about lake effect. We get it from Lake Michigan. I'm about 10 to 15 miles from the Lake
we are kinda at the bottom of the curve. Yesterday and today is a bright sunny and pleasant weather...take care. Bev.

Hi Beverly, I think you are doing very well with the language and expressing yourself. One day you will post more puzzles? You have a nice personality that comes through with your comments. I see that you are in Indiana. Been traveling through, but never lived there. It's very nice, as I remember. We are south of Lake Ontario in upstate New York and East of Lake Erie, about equal distance between the two. I think you have milder winters and longer growing season than we do. Do you do any gardening? You are on the western side of Lake Michigan. I wonder how your weather is affected because of that. We are affected in many ways by both Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. That is, we have what they call "lake affect" snow, which can be a big story in some years. 4-12-17

When I first joined up with jigidi, I was green and not knowing to much of what to do. I failed to finish my sentence. I am Northwest Indiana, county of Lake, fifty miles east of Chicago,Illinois.
When my profile is read most think I'm from way up northwest U.S.A. :))) One of these days I will correct my error. :))

Hi Beverly, I came to your page again and realized what you said about Jaide. Could you could post a picture of her? Yes, they grow up so fast..it was just "yesterday" that she was a toddler. Dear Bev, I saw that you commented on honeylemon's puzzle. Thank you for you lovely response to her and about me, too. This has been the wildest week as the whole thing began to play out with her posting puzzles and getting responses. Jigidi was part of the February break off school and honeylemon and her younger brother had a week of new activities and alot of fun. Now she realizes that she is part of a very big "club around the world" and that has her "stoked" for sure; they are back in school and she counted down the hours until she could post another puzzle for the rules say that only 4 can be posted in a 24hr period. Again, I thank you for including her. Also, Shiloh looks like a "man's best friend" with a wonderful personality!
