Here is more from Sharen. One day I thought and realized have lived alone 27 years. I shocked myself. How in the world did I do it. One day at a time I guess. And we did it. I hear so many younger people who expect, demand, feel entitled....and I don't understand. We worked so hard. My Honda is 22 years old and going strong. But I think I will always miss my truck. I liked sitting high and felt safer. And camping.....when I get frustrated I think I will go buy a tent. :) Never a nursing home. A tent. :) I lost 4 friends this year. That was rough. Knew them over 40 years and it was sudden. It feels so empty when their lives feel erased as if they weren't here. I guess this is normal with age. I just don't like it especially with no warning. I had a bone test for the first time and found out I have osteoporosis especially in my left hip. Surprised me as I sure don't lack calcium. I still love milk. I'm sorry you are having so much pain. Arthritis? You are always active. It's hard when we feel our bodies change. We will not surrender. You are such a sweetheart to offer a computer my friend. I looked a lot this week and Savanna thinks I should fix the old one. It has the Paint Shop I love to make puzzles and that program is a fortune. I think I got program one and they probably are on program ten by now with upgrades. But it worked so well for what I wanted to do. I haven't felt up to do much but I will. Thank you for your pure heart. You have worked so hard for so long for the little you have. It's not easy at our age. Ill see what I can do and keep you posted. We found a little shop in the next town over and were told "Dave" helps seniors and doesn't charge much so we will see. I will keep you posted. Thank you!!!
@dblayHere is the note I had back from Sharen. She didn't say anything about her computer, so I expect she is still without one. She had used one at the library once or twice. She has been sick. Thanks Sue. I got the dreaded pneumonia and just couldn't get my strength back. It's been slow going. But I have more stamina and am feeling more like myself. I have an aide 5 days now and she's been great but am anxious to do more myself. I am hoping we can cut to three days or mornings. That would be perfect. I have been watching the sales and doing my Christmas shopping on line. I had invites for Thanksgiving but everyone has been sick and coughing so I decided to play it safe. How about you? How is your nephew? What are your plans? Love, SharenI'll be sending her a reply and let her know that you asked about her.
Sue, Please tell Sharen I miss her and am hoping she can be back on Jigidi soon. I send my best wishes to her.
Thank you, Sue, for the updates. You are always so nice to let me know how Sharen is doing and what is going on and I appreciate it. Hope you have a really nice Sunday.
She now has a Kindle Fire and may be able to join us some. She's not sure what she'll be able to do.
I have dropped an email to her and hope she might be able to reply using her phone or the library computer again. I'll post here if I hear more.
Hey, it's me again. I saw where you sent a message from the Library to Sue and I hope and pray you will be able to get a new laptop soon. I miss your beautiful country puzzles, my friend, as well as I also miss you. Many hugs and good luck wishes for a new Laptop.
Sure am missing you, Sharen. I hope you are able to get your computer repaired soon. Thinking of you and wishing you well, my friend. Hope to see you soon. Lots of hugs until then.
When you return, Sharen, I just wanted to say this is soooooooo cute and so beautiful but the only thing my eyes picked up at first glance was that FUDGE sign. (ha) I crave sweets so bad and being diabetic, one just doesn't get to enjoy those luxuries as we would like to. :))) Love this picture and thank you for posting it.. HOPE YOU GET THAT PC FIXED SOON.
THANK YOU, SUE, for letting us know Sharen is okay. I always worry about her when I don't see her posting for a few days. I hope she can get her computer repaired soon. I will miss her puzzles too.
JUST FYI - Sharen sent an email to me just now that her computer has frozen up, so she won't be on Jigidi until she can have it repaired. Just wanted her friends to know she is fine.
I love this bathtub! I sure miss mine. I have always had one of these tubs my whole life through - almost exactly like this one - up until 2002. Only the legs were different.
